Elliott D. Mikaelain aka The Urban Knight
	Age: 24 DOB: 11-11-80 Ht: 5'10" Wt: 170lbs Powers: Partial dematerialization of body with enhanced speed and instant healing upon re-materialization. Elliott is an avid reader (his apartment is cluttered with books) and is a bit addicted to Star Wars computer games. He graduated from the University of Washington - Ocean City with a degree in Criminal Justice. And despite two years as a police officer, he's still pretty idealistic. Elliott has one sibling, James (18).
	Nicole V. Chambers
	Age: 25 DOB: 02-07-80 Ht: 5’8” Wt: 145lbs Elliott’s best friend and partner. They’ve known each other since high school, when Nicole moved from Seattle to live with her sister following her father’s death. She has coped with his loss remarkably well, or at least done an excellent job hiding her feelings. Something even darker lurks in Nicole's past, but she's not ready to reveal all just yet. Nicole has one sibling, Kathleen (31), brother-in-law Eric, 3 nieces: Tasha (9), Aimee (5), Sierra (7months) and one nephew: Cole (3)
	Dr. Miranda Meadows
	Dr. Meadows is a brilliant biochemist and genetic researcher ostensibly in the employ of the Insom Chemical Corporation. Dr Meadows has been conducting illegal 'experiments' on unwilling human subjects. Her work largely went undetected because her test subjects were all members of Ocean City's homeless population. Meadows may have tested some of the chemicals on herself. Recent 'adjustments to the data set' appear to have caught the attention of the OCPD's narcotics squad as well as a far more worrisome group...
	Miguel Fernandes
	Powers: Can disassociate his body into pieces and reassemble into a variety of shapes – for a limited period of time. The unfortunate lab assistant to Dr Meadows. He stumbled onto her 'project' and became yet another unwilling participant. His life literally fell apart as a result. Dr Meadows was able to keep him silent and in her constant employ by providing him with the muscle relaxants he now needs to keep himself together.
	Robert James "Jim" Mikaelain
	Elliott's father; thought killed in an auto accident in 1988. Has recently reappeared in Elliott's life and (obviously) has a lot of explaining to do. Used to be a junior news editor for the Ocean City Metro Gazette.
	James P. Mikaelain
	Age: 18 DOB: 09-14-87 Ht: 5’9” Wt: 160lbs Elliott's younger brother. Frequently plays online with Elliott. Involved in gymnastics and martial arts. Occasionally shows up in Ocean City to see Elliott when his mother will let him borrow the car. Bears a strong resemblance to his father, whom he doesn't remember.
	Macey Mikaelain
	Age: 3 Species: Canine Breed: lab/setter mix Elliott's dog. Adorable and reasonably patient. Fond of walks, Elliott’s couch, cheddar cheese, and a thoroughly chewed blue toy. Elliott adopted her after she was bounced from OCPD training because she was too interested in sniffing people, when she was supposed to be sniffing for drugs. She has no idea what happened to that plant, it was tipped over when she got there.
	Anne T. Mikaelain
	Elliott's mother. Raised two sons on her own for the past 16 years. Currently a Duty Sergeant for the Forest Hills Police Department (suburban area not far from Ocean City). Has a tendency to worry, especially about Elliott, since he's working in such a large city.
	Phil Hanes
	Powers: active imagination Heartbroken plumber living in Elliott's building. After his wife of 13 years leaves him for another man, Phil decides he can fly.
	Erica Woest
	Powers: intensely powerful subconscious psychic abilities A bitter young woman Elliott encounters while working on an OCPD taskforce. Erica has an interesting reaction to a new 'party drug' circulating the streets of Ocean City. Elliott saves her life, and in return, she unconsciously pulls him in to her dream world. Erica is currently attempting to recover from her ordeal and organize her life.
	Greg Murphy
	One of Elliott's good friends and roommates in college. Played on the club ice hockey team with him as well. Greg lives in Ocean City with his girlfriend and works in the emergency room at Douglas Adams Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse.
	Oliver Lowell
	Good friend and roommate of Elliott's in college. Now working as a programmer for a software developer near Seattle.
	Ariel Shannon
	Elliott's college girlfriend. Broke up with him after 7 months because she 'didn't think it would be fair to keep dating him when they barely had time to see each other as it was'. Currently working and doing research in marine biology at Washington Sea Rescue (a local marine mammal rehabilitation center) and working on her Master's Degree.
	Clayton MacInnis aka The Purple Scotsman
	Powers: Bulks up significantly (super strength) and turns purple at will Originally from Scotland (obviously) Clayton came to the US hoping to start a career in acting. Turns out he wasn't very good at that, but he was rather skilled with a camera. He now works as a cameraman for a local television news station. The origins of his amazing transformative abilities are a bit of a mystery. Clayton is rather fond of the Galaxy Bar and Grill when he's not working or "fighting crime".
	Edward Hamilton aka The Saurian Glider
	Powers: wings – gliding Winged 'crime fighter' and self-appointed 'ladies' man', Eddie will flirt with anything female. He likes to tell people that he works in the adult film industry, but that's a gross exaggeration; he manages a video rental shop
	'Lacey' Misuki Nakamura
	Beautiful and far older than she appears, Lacy stops by the Galaxy every night for a drink and conversation before work. She is both amused and impressed by Elliott's fierce idealism.
	Detective Ben Fraser
	While usually assigned to 'missing persons', Detective Fraser frequently works on cases for other departments. He interviewed Erica Woest in the hospital. He has a fondness for loud, Canadian ties.
	Rachel Waverly
	Rachel is a friendly college student and wizard. She enjoys hanging out in the Galaxy, probably because the bar seems to draw an eclectic crowd. She's often found painstakingly constructing spells or at the poker table. Manipulation of the fundamental energies of the Universe is hard work, after all.
	Omnis
	The Galaxy Bar and Grill’s other wizard, very quiet... never without his laptop. He comes and goes infrequently.
	Benny Aces
	Owner and bartender of the Galaxy Bar and Grill. Pretends to hate that his bar has become a favorite hang out for the city's super-weird crowd, but he really doesn't. Don’t bother asking about his eyes, he won’t answer.
	Kaleb Rammashan aka Pressure Front
	Powers: “wind” manipulation Kaleb patrols the docks of Ocean City at night in search of answers to a question only known to him. He is highly skilled in martial arts and can manipulate the air around him.
	The Glimmer
	Powers: unknown Silent and mysterious, all that is known about Glimmer is that she is currently involved with Kaleb.
