Advanced Rules: What If I Cannot Follow a Card's Instructions?

Sometimes you will be unable to complete a card’s instructions. You may be asked to destroy something that is no longer in play, or discard a card when you have no cards in your hand. When this happens, follow as much of the instructions as you can and ignore what you cannot complete.
